Eldon Square supports hundreds of registered Charities each year in the following ways:
Charity Collection
To hold a collection within Eldon Square you must first acquire a Street Collection License from Newcastle City Council. Please contact the Licensing Team on 0191 278 3861. When you have been granted a license please Contact Us with the dates and we will send you out the paperwork required for Eldon Square.
Promotional Space
Eldon Square can provide promotional space to locally registered Charities and Community Groups to allow them to raise awareness and provide information to the public. Please note, space is allocated on a first come first served basis and requires four weeks notice.
Raffle Prizes
Eldon Square’s wishing well fountains are long gone however, they have been replaced by a collection box on the mall outside Game on Chevy Chase. Funds are allocated in the form of Eldon Square Gift Cards and sent out on receipt of requests from local Charities. To request a raffle prize please post in your request on letter headed paper addressed to:

Please note we only consider raffle prize requests in writing. We receive hundreds of requests every year and funds are limited but we endeavour to respond to all requests in a timely manner.
